Ian Bair

I have been in the Information Technology field since 2011, beginning with a Computer Repair Technician course at UEI.

My career started at Laptops Plus in Santee, CA, where I specialized in repairing consumer-grade systems including laptops, desktops, gaming machines, and servers. I also provided sales and support for antivirus solutions and other IT services.

I advanced my career by joining Tech 2U, where I quickly expanded my skills while delivering onsite and in-shop technical support for residential clients. My performance earned me a promotion from the Core Team to the Business Team as a Systems Analyst, followed by another promotion to Systems Administrator within a year. By the end of 2020, I had received three promotions, ultimately becoming Regional Technical Manager.

Seeking further growth, I transitioned to Paradise InfoTech as an IT Manager, where I continued developing my expertise in networking, cybersecurity, and IT strategy. During my time at Tech 2U, I obtained my CCNA certification, and at Paradise InfoTech, I gained hands-on experience with cybersecurity policies, controls, and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR.

Throughout my career, I have worked with companies across various industries, including construction, biomedical, financial services, law, and property management.

I bring determination, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning to any organization I join, ensuring that IT solutions align with business objectives while maintaining the highest security and performance standards.
